Best Time to Visit Colombia
by Lenny Travel on 06/30/24
Colombia's diverse geography results in varying climates across its major cities. Cartagena, nestled on the Caribbean coast, enjoys consistently warm weather. On the other hand, Bogota, positioned at 2600m above sea level, experiences temperatures typically ranging between 12 to 20 degrees Celsius.
Medellin, known as the city of Eternal Spring, mirrors Bogota's mild climate, with temperatures ranging from 15 degrees Celsius in cooler periods to 30 degrees Celsius during warmer times.
Due to these stable climates, Colombia is a year-round destination. However, August stands out as an excellent time to visit due to the Feria de las Flores festival and the ideal conditions to experience Cano Cristales, making it my recommended month for travel.
